"Buen sitio para para, en mi caso no llegué a parar, por lo que no puedo opinar sobre la comida, pero el entorno es increíble, tanto para grandes, cómo para pequeños. Puedes llegar mediante ruta de sendero o con coche/moto, pudiendo aparcar allí el vehículo. Atención buena, terraza amplia, sólo tiene terraza, no salones. Es buen sitio para poder parar."

"Hacía como 40 años que no lo veía abierto. Y la segunda vez que subo andando. Me ha encantado. La tortilla no he podido con ella y me la han puesto para llevar. He pedido un tomate aliñado y estaba buenísimo. El pan muy bueno. Los camareros encantadores y de lo más profesionales. Han arreglado muchísimo los baños. Por cierto no pueden dar café, porque no les llega el agua corriente. Me ha traído muy buenos recuerdos y la comida tal y como la recordaba. Las vistas una maravilla. Gracias por lo cómoda que he estado. Subiré otro día con mis hijas y nietos."

"Lugar precioso en el bosque de La Herrería rodeado de robles y arces y, pegado a La Silla de Felipe II. El lugar es de 10, el servicio muy bueno teniendo en cuenta que es un negocio familiar y por lo tanto hay poca gente y, la comida..... 5*, comida de parrilla de pueblo pero de una calidad excelente. La morcilla es la mejor de Madrid, seguro y, una de las mejores de España, el resto: chorizo, tortilla de patatas, chuletas de cordero, etc.... Igualmente excelentes. Perfecto para una cenita en verano o una comida en primavera verano. Si andas por El Escorial y te mola este tipo de comida es un imprescindible, a veces ahy que llamar para reservar pues se llena"

"Nos encanta el entorno, y solo por eso, ya merece la pena. En plena silla de Felipe II hay un kiosko con terracita donde se puede comer y cenar al aire libre. La carta es corta (ensalada mixta con atún, tortilla de patata recién hecha, chuletitas de cordero, morcilla, chorizo y poco más) pero se está genial . El kiosko lo lleva desde hace años una familia. Es conveniente llamar antes para preguntar si están abiertos, puesto que, fuera de temporada estival, los horarios varían y dependen mucho de la meteorología."

"Me encantó este lugar. No sabía que estaba ahí, y subir hasta la silla de Felipe II y encontrarte con este bar fue una muy buena sorpresa. Ideal para tomar una cerveza o un refresco. También tienen comida, como chuletillas, tortillas o chorizo frito. Gran terraza para descansar después de una buena caminata. Precios muy asequibles."
